Privacy — waitlist
This note covers the coming-soon page at hearlater.app. The full product privacy policy will be published when the app opens.
What we collect
If you join the waitlist, we store the email address you enter, the date you joined, and which part of the page you signed up from.
We also count what happens on this page: visits, whether the sample gets played, how far through it people get, and whether the signup form was submitted. That counting sets no cookies and writes nothing to your device, which is why there is no cookie banner here. It uses a random ID that exists only while this page is open and is discarded when you close the tab, so visits can't be linked to each other or to your email address. As with any web request, our analytics provider does see your IP address and uses it to work out an approximate country.
No advertising trackers, no third-party marketing pixels, no session recording.
What we use it for
Telling you about HearLater's launch and your invite. We won't sell your address, share it with third parties for their own use, or send unrelated marketing.
Where it lives
The waitlist is stored with Supabase, our database provider, in their EU region infrastructure. Page analytics go to PostHog, on their EU cloud.
Removing yourself
Email hello@hearlater.app from the address you signed up with and we'll delete it, usually within a few days. Every email we send will also include an unsubscribe option.
